A 25-question exam drawn at random from a substantially larger bank — a wider ratio than our other certificates, so that somebody re-sitting it each year meets a very different paper. Pass mark 78%, three attempts, 45 minutes. The certificate records the date you passed and does not expire. To renew it — as an annual refresher, for example — buy the certificate again at its full price and re-sit the exam: a pass issues a new certificate dated that day, and the earlier one stays on record.

What Good Manufacturing Practice asks of you personally, wherever you work on a GMP site — production, packing, warehouse, laboratory, engineering, maintenance, cleaning or quality.
Designed to be used two ways: as an induction when someone joins (about 75 minutes), and as an annual refresher afterwards (about 35 minutes via the Key points boxes). The certificate exam draws a different paper each year, so it tests knowledge rather than memory of last year's questions.
This is the basic training on the theory and practice of the quality system and GMP that PIC/S §2.11 describes. It does not replace site-specific or role-specific training, and says so.
